Wensdy VonBuskirk
Wensdy's dad restrung his acoustic Gibson for a southpaw and got her in lessons when she was in grade school. She never dreamed of playing in a rock band until a co-worker at the Daily Tribune said he had some friends looking for a chick bass player. Wensdy bought the only lefty bass at Music Castle, and The Basements were born. Wensdy's rock 'n' roll career (and body) were waylaid with the birth of her son in 2005, but just when she thought she was destined for mom jeans and lapsit storytimes, the Mydols came to the rescue. Now, as the new bassist for the hot mom band, she looks forward to melding sex, PMS drugs and music with domestic bliss.
