The Mydols and the sixth grade band at Keller Middle School have joined forces for The Mydols' tune 'Run Crazy Baby'. The two bands got together for a concert at Total Soccer in Royal Oak on April 22 to raise money for 'Soccer with a Heart,' an organization dedicated to stomping out cancer in our community.
Mydols' guitarist, Judy, and band instructor, Albin Rose, came up with the idea at, of all things, a Parent/Teacher Conference. Judy's son Dylan plays trombone for Mr. Rose.
Paige told the enthuiastic six graders that this collaboration has been one of the coolest things The Mydols have ever done.
These kids are sooooooo AMAZING! They are really tight and they ROCK. They sound so good that The Mydols are going to record a split-single with them.
