Singer/songwriter/pianist Adrina Thorpe released her much-anticipated sophomore album, Halflight & Shadows, on June 30, 2009.  Halflight & Shadows illuminates the eternal struggle of light against the darkness and the yearning that each of us faces everyday, the quest for a beautiful life.  Adrina Thorpe's style reflects the softer side of music, with a haunting voice and a delicate touch at the piano.
“Emptiness inspires me.  Silence beckons me, thrills me, fills me with ideas.  I love to write.  It's a passion I've had since I was very little. Melodies are all little miracles, and the perfect arrangements are like discovering heaven.  I hope I can contribute beauty to the silence of the air,” confides Southern California native Thorpe.
When it came time to record Halflight & Shadows, classically-trained Thorpe enlisted the help of some of her close musician friends, including producer Filippo Gaetani (My Excellence, Malina, Ken Andrews), drummer Randy Cooke (Mick Jagger, Ringo Starr, Kelly Clarkson, Five for Fighting), cellist Dave Takahashi (Sheryl Crow, Sting, Kanye West), violinist Chris Woods (Justin Timberlake, Jessica Simpson, Faith Evans, Dr. Dre) and drummer Fernando Sanchez (Luis Fonsi, Charlotte Martin).
Since releasing her debut album Elusive, Thorpe has gained a considerable following and earned continued success.  Many tracks from Elusive were featured on TV networks CW and Lifetime, as well as in several independent films.  “Who Will Find Me,” the joint effort of Thorpe and DJ Shah, became a massive hit, even winning over the world’s number one DJ, Armin Van Buuren, who spun the song for crowds of more than 30,000 and claimed it to be his favorite song of the last two years.
Thorpe uses her unique marriage of pop/rock stylings, classical influence, and folk sentiment to weave narratives of joy within pain and light in the darkness.  Her songs are ordered progressively with a hidden "character" who journeys from the darkest brokenness to becoming transformed and swept away by beauty. May these songs take you on a journey, as well.

BETTY

BETTY is the original pop rock band fronted by Alyson Palmer and sisters Elizabeth and Amy Ziff.  Based in New York City, the band's defiant attitude and signature sound of tight harmonies, infectious melodies and evocative lyrics layered over strong grooves are making their devoted cult grow larger every year. BETTY performs wildly memorable and boundary-pushing live shows all over the world.

Fierce Elizabeth (vocals, guitar), funky Alyson (vocals, bass) and funny Amy (vocals, cello) are the songwriters and arrangers.  At times, their onstage banter between songs adds a dizzying and hilarious dimension to their live shows, ensuring that no two of their one thousand performances have ever been the same.  On some shows, BETTY is joined by guitarist Tony Salvatore and drummer Mino Gori.

In Summer 2009, BETTY pre-released the album “Bright & Dark”, produced by David Maurice (Kelis, DefJam).  Their eighth recording since 1992, the songs create a lush and lively exploration of the challenges and triumphs of the past two years of their lives, including Elizabeth’s battle with breast cancer.  It features vocal contributions by Kate Pierson of the B-52’s and is their most fully-realized song collection to date.  Pre-release cuts from the album have been featured on the hit television series Ugly Betty and The L Word.

Originally from Washington DC, activists BETTY fight fiercely for what they believe, including equal rights for all and the empowerment of girls and women.  During the  two decades they’ve been performing together, the fundraisers in which they have taken part have helped raise over $50,000,000.

DEB CHAMBERLIN released her sophomore CD, entitled "I AM SHE," a project close to her heart and produced by her husband, Robert Wynn. Co-writing all of the cuts with Robert (except for the Stevie Wonder cover), “I AM SHE” is an eclectic mix of songs, inspired from 360 degrees of real life. From poignant to sensual to inspirational, Deb holds nothing back in expressing how it is for her as a woman. Passionate and soulful in word and voice, melody and rhythm equally surge through her sound. Fans of Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt, Alanis Morissette, & Annie Lennox will love this CD!

As a vocalist, she has performed in top Philly & NYC venues including World Café, Tin Angel, The Point, National Constitution Center, Wachovia Center, Havana, Steel City Coffeehouse, Milkboy, Collingswood May Fair & Mamapalooza Festivals, Camden County Sundown Series, CBGB’s, Bitter End & more.

As a session and jingle singer, her voice has been heard on TV and Radio up and down the East Coast (including the nightly Pennsylvania Lottery Drawing theme song). And, as one of NYC and Philly's premier vocal coaches, she has trained hundreds of singers, from beginners to major label recording artists (including Carole King, Tom Keifer of Cinderella, Eric Bazilian of The Hooters, Joziah of Gandalf Murphy and the Slovakian Circus of Dreams, & more).

Having also evolved into a community activist, Deb is active in a number of organizations that contribute to the Greater Good. As Co-Founder and Executive Director of the “Changing Our World (COW) Project, Inc.,” a non-profit teen group that uses the creative arts to make a difference in the world, she mentors young people and has taken the group all over the state of New Jersey to perform, including the Phila. 76ers Basketball and events in Trenton for the Attorney General’s Office and state Human Relations Council. Deb co-wrote the group’s theme song, “We Can Change Our World,” whose music video was awarded “Best Music from a Music Video” and “Broader Vision Award for Music Video” in the prestigious 2008 Garden State Film Festival, and “Best Music Video” in the 2007 Delaware Valley Film Festival.

Deb is also the Regional Coordinator for the Philadelphia / South Jersey annual Mamapalooza Festival, empowering moms in the creative arts, and bringing together families and communities to celebrate the creative spirit of motherhood. As songwriters, Deb and Robert have worked as a team for over 2 decades. Their songs have been published, held by major artists, and placed in an indie film soundtrack, and together, they own ESAH Music. Deb and Robert live in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area with their 13-year-old daughter.
